Golena
Indoor / outdoor vessel collection.
The “golena” (floodplain) is a place of deposition, transformation and memory. Earth and water meet, settle and change consistency.
From this image comes a collection that interprets terracotta as a material crossed by subtle vibrations—not sound vibrations, but visual and tactile ones. Those produced by light as it encounters an irregular surface, a groove, an edge, a hollow or a relief.
Light enters the hollows, slides over the reliefs, lingers along the edges and intensifies within the glazes.
Golena emerges from terracotta as a living body: an earth capable of absorbing, retaining and returning light.
The collection does not focus on decoration, but on the physical presence of fired clay: thickness, hollows, edges, relief, shadow and vibration.
Objects and surfaces become sensitive devices, capable of transforming space through matter.
